Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro price for Indian market has been officially confirmed

The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2024 in Las Vegas featured several new Asus devices, among them the ROG Phone 8 and ROG Phone 8 Pro., targeted at gaming enthusiasts. The Taiwanese company has now made available the pricing information for the ROG Phone 8 Pro in the Indian market.

How much does the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro cost in India?

The ROG Phone 8 and Phone 8 Pro are identically sized and have identical specifications, with the former having an Aura RGB LED logo on the back while the latter boasts an AniMe Vision mini-LED system on its back side. Furthermore, there are differences in the RAM and storage configurations between the two phones. The ROG Phone 8 Pro is only being offered in India in two variants.

The RoG Phone 8 Pro has 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage, and costs Rs 94,999 ($1,142). Despite having 24 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage, the ROG Phone 8 Pro Edition is priced at Rs 1,19,999 ($1444) on the other hand. Only Phantom Black color is available. The AeroActive Cooler X accessory is being sold by the brand at a cost of Rs 5,999 ($722).

Asus has not yet announced the sale date for the ROG Phone 8 Pro. Vijay Sales, Asus Exclusive stores, Asus ROG stores, and the Asus e-shop will be selling the device, as confirmed.

Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro Features

The ROG Phone 8 Pro’s screen is 6.78-inch and features an FHD resolution, 165Hz refresh rate, up to 2,500 nits of brightness, and an in-screen fingerprint scanner., and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. Under the hood, the ROG Phone 8 Pro has the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, LPDDR5x RAM, UFS 4.0 storage, and a 5,500mAh battery with 65W wired and 15W wireless charging. ROG UI-based Android 14 is the operating system for it.

It has a selfie camera that has 32 megapixels on its front. An OIS-enabled 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 primary camera with optical image stabilization is present on the device’s back panel, as well as an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and an OIS-helped 32-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.
