OnePlus 9RT Receiving OxygenOS Update

OnePlus 9RT is getting its second update this month. The company is releasing another update with minor fixes after receiving the December 2023 security patch update. As per the official changelog, the firmware OxygenOS is undergoing minor modifications. We believe that the issue may have had an impact on several users, which is why the company released another update in the same month.

Users in India are currently being updated to the new firmware being rolled out. Our expectation is that it will be viewed by a larger audience in the next few days.

The device settings menu can be accessed by interested users to check for updates by going to Device Settings > About Menu > Software Update > Check for Updates. Each unit may take some time to be updated since it is a gradual process. If there is a problem that the user encounters, they are able to easily submit it using Google Dialer with the code *#800#. Monthly security patches are released by OnePlus for the OnePlus 9RT smartphone on a regular basis.

The OxygenOS 14 stable update for the OnePlus 9RT is almost ready, since it has already been updated with OxygenOS Open Beta 2 and Open Beta 1 updates. Devices such as OnePlus 11 Series, OnePlus 10 Pro, OnePlus 10R, OnePlus Nord 3, and OnePlus Pad now have the stable update for OxygenOS 14.

In OxygenOS 14, there are many new features, including the new Aquamorphic design that offers themed ringtones and revises system notification sounds. The new design system enhances the naturalness and gentleness of system animations. OxygenOS 14 is now safer for users to access apps with streamlined video-related permissions thanks to the security and privacy features of Android 14. Other changes are included in the new update.
