Realme GT 5 Pro Year of the Dragon Limited Gift Box has been launched

In December, the Realme GT 5 Pro made its debut in China. The brand revealed a special edition a few days later to celebrate its 200 million unit sales feat.

A month has passed since the company unveiled another limited edition of the handset. This gift box is officially known as Realme GT 5 Pro Year of the Dragon Limited Gift Box.

Anyone who is interested can buy the new special edition instead of the previous one.

To buy the Realme GT 5 Pro’s Chinese New Year gift box, you will need 4,399 ($620). Included in the package are the following items.

Realme GT 5 Pro with 16GB and 1TB storage in Red Rock
Realme Buds Air 5 with Whale Blue color
Year in which the Dragon Card comes into play
Both the phone and wireless earbuds variant cost 4,299 ( $605) and 299 ( $40). Pre-ordering the gift box starts at 8 PM local time (GMT+8) on January 10 and buyers can save 200 ($30) by doing so.

Customers can save 997 by purchasing the Oppo Reno 11 New Year gift box as a comparison. 5,999 is the price of that package, which includes two Reno 11 (12 + 512GB) units in Moonstone and two pairs of Oppo Enco R Pro.

It hasn’t been long since the Realme GT 5 Pro was introduced as the brand’s first premium smartphone in quite some time. Its OLED display is curved and measures 6.78 inches with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz and a local peak brightness level of 4500 units.

A Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip is used to power the device, along with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. Realme UI 5.0 is booted on Android 14.

It has a 32MP selfie camera and a triple camera system in the handset. There are three sensors on the back, which are the 50MP Sony LYT-808, the 8MP Sony IMX355 ultrawide, and the 50MP Sony IMX890 3x periscope telephoto camera.

Dual stereo speakers, an IR blaster, and an in-screen fingerprint sensor are included in the IP54-rated product. Finally, it utilizes a 5,400mAh battery and can charge at 100W wired and 50W wireless standards.
