POCO X6, X6 Pro 120Hz OLED Display Specifications and Features Launched In India
Today’s event saw the announcement of the POCO X6 series and the POCO M6 Pro smartphones by POCO. Standard and pro models are included in the X6 lineup. Several key features of the latest devices have been revealed by the Xiaomi sub-brand before today’s launch event. It appears that the X6 and X6 Pro are rebranded versions of the Redmi Note 13 Pro and Redmi K70e, respectively. Except for a few differences, both phones are virtually identical.
POCO X6 series specifications and features
A flat OLED screen that measures 6.67 inches is present in the POCO X6 and X6 Pro. Dolby Vision is supported by the displays, which boast a resolution of 1.5K pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. A fingerprint scanner can be found on the screen. Gorilla Glass Victus shields the display on both phones, which has a peak brightness of 1,800 nits. The phones have a dual-toned appearance with an elongated rectangular camera island in black on the rear, which is part of the design.
The POCO X6 series’ imaging equipment consists of a triple rear camera system. The setup consists of a 64MP primary camera that is OIS enabled, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro unit. The punch-hole cutout that is aligned with the center houses a 16MP selfie camera on the front of the devices.
The POCO X6 has a Dimensity 8300 Ultra processor under the hood, while the X6 Pro has a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC. Both phones pack up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. The standard model has a 5,100mAh battery unit that supports 67W charging, while the pro variant has a 5,500mAh cell that supports 90W charging.
The new HyperOS is included out of the box on the POCO X6 Pro, which is the first Xiaomi phone to do so. MIUI 14 is the basis for Android 14 used by the X6. It has been confirmed that both phones will receive three years of OS updates and four years of security patches.
The POCO X6 has a starting price of Rs 21,999 for the base 8GB + 256GB variant. Rs 23,999 and Rs 24,999 are the prices for the 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB options, respectively. For the 8GB 256GB and 12GB 512GB RAM and storage configurations in the standard variant, the X6 Pro costs Rs 26,999 and Rs 28,999 respectively.
Mirror Black and Snowstorm White are available for the POCO X6, and the X6 Pro comes in Spectre Black, Racing Grey, and POCO Yellow. Flipkart will begin selling the X6 duo on January 16. A discount of Rs 2,000 is available to ICICI Bank cardholders.
