iQOO Z9 5G India launch is officially announced, with confirmation of processor and OIS support

On February 22, iQOO plans to unveil the iQO Neo 9 Pro smartphone in India. The iQOO Z-series smartphone is about to be launched in the country, and the Vivo sub-brand is teasting it. The e-commerce platform Amazon posted a microsite that confirmed this. The iQOO Z9 5G is a new offering that is coming soon.

According to the microsite, there is a green color choice for the iQOO Z9 5G. A gradient pattern design could potentially be present in this variant. The phone’s dual-toned appearance is achieved by a squarish camera module in black color. Two camera sensors and an LED flash unit are located inside it. Confirmation of the presence of OIS is also provided by a text. According to reports, the upcoming smartphone will have a Sony IMX882 OIS sensor for the first time in the segment.

On the Amazon microsite, it is confirmed that the iQOO Z9 5G is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 processor underneath the hood. The AnTuTu benchmark test has shown that it is the fastest phone in the segment, scoring 734K points. There is still a mystery surrounding the remaining information about the iQOO Z9 5G. More information is expected to be made available in the near future.

Live images earlier today showed the iQOO Z9 5G, which revealed some important details. An AMOLED display that includes an integrated fingerprint scanner, FHD+ resolution, and 120Hz refresh rate is mentioned to exist. It is predicted that the device will have a 50MP camera sensor and provide fast charging at 44W. According to the Geekbench listing, the upcoming offering could be powered by Android 14 and have 8GB of RAM.
