Realme 12 Plus TENAA Certification with Specification
India saw the launch of Realme’s latest smartphone, the Realme 12 Pro series, recently. The Realme 12 and Realme 12 Plus are two new additions to the lineup that they are now gearing up to introduce. Despite not having all the details about these phones, we now know about the upcoming Realme 12 Plus 5G thanks to a recent TENAA listing.

So, TENAA gave the phone a greenlight with the model number RMX3866, which is consistent with the model number seen in MIIT and other certifications for the Realme 12 Plus.
By looking at the design, it is clear that the 12 Plus resembles its Pro siblings, with a large, circular camera island and a distinct stripe running down the back. Also, the phone has flat frames and a notch display that is shaped like a teardrop.
The screen is big enough to hold up to 6.67 inches and has a full HD+ resolution (2400 x 1080 pixels) with an AMOLED panel for vivid colors. For security purposes, there is an in-display fingerprint scanner on board. Although the listing didn’t mention the refresh rate, we anticipate that the display will be capable of either a 90Hz or 120Hz refresh rate.
A 2.6GHz octa-core processor powers the Realme 12 Plus 5G, but we don’t know the exact chipset details. There are multiple RAM options available to users, including 6GB, 8GB, 12GB, and a staggering 16GB. There are a wide range of storage options available, such as 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and even 1TB configurations. Realme UI 5, which is based on Android 14, is expected to run on the phone.
The Realme 12 Plus 5G features a triple rear camera arrangement that includes a 50-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro lens, in terms of optics. A front-facing camera with 16 megapixels is available for selfies. A 5,000mAh battery is responsible for keeping the lights on, but the specifics of charging are still unknown.
The Realme 12 Plus 5G could launch in China with the Realme 12 Pro series later this month after receiving its TENAA certification. The details of pricing and global availability are still unclear.
