This announcement follows the official confirmation of the series’ launch in Malaysia, where both the Reno 11 5G and Reno 11 Pro 5G are set to debut on January 4th at 10 AM local time. India’s launch is expected to happen later, resulting in Malaysia becoming the first market outside of China to officially welcome the Reno 11 series.
Moreover, the Malaysian launch event will be the platform for introducing ColorOS 14 to the global audience. Amelia Henderson, who is well known in Malaysia, is set to host the event.

Both phones feature OLED displays that are large and curved, and refresh rates of 120Hz. The Reno 11 Pro has a slightly larger and higher-resolution display (6.74-inch 1.5K vs. 6.7-inch FHD+), and it boasts a peak brightness of 1600 nits, compared to 950 nits for the Reno 11.
The Reno 11 Pro utilizes the newest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, whereas the Reno 11 utilizes the MediaTek Dimensity 8200. Each phone is equipped with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and either 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB of storage.
The triple camera systems on both phones are identical, but the sensors are different. The Reno 11 Pro’s main sensor boasts a 50MP resolution, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, and a 32MP telephoto sensor. Reno 11’s sensor lineup includes a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, and a 32MP telephoto sensor. Their front-facing cameras are 32MP for selfies.
The Reno 11 Pro’s battery is slightly bigger (4700mAh compared to 4800mAh), but it also has faster charging capabilities (80W compared to 67W). ColorOS 14 is the latest operating system on both phones, which is based on Android 14.
