OnePlus 9/9 Pro and OnePlus 9RT are Receiving Stable Update for ColorOS 14.0
It seems that the OnePlus 9 series is getting a lot of attention this month, given the frequent updates they have received in the past few days. Yesterday, the global smartphone received an OxygenOS 14 update after a few regular updates based on OxygenOS 13 in December. In China, the OnePlus 9RT, along with the OnePlus 9 and the OnePlus 9 Pro, are currently receiving the ColorOS 14 update that is based on Android 14.
All the new features of Android 14, as well as the new additions from OnePlus’s ColorOS 14 skin are included in the new update. Enhancing the user experience is expected from the new Aquamorphic design, which features animations and ringtones, along with performance and security improvements.
ColorOS 14 Stable Update
The OnePlus 9 has been updated to firmware 14.0.0.201, while the OnePlus 9 Pro and OnePlus 9RT have been updated to firmware 14.0.0.211. It is being rolled out to both regular and beta users in China. It is recommended that users create a backup of their important personal data before updating, as the new build may affect the data on their smartphones. Moreover, a few third-party applications may not function efficiently and may cause unfavorable experiences for the users.
OnePlus also advises users to give their smartphone at least a couple of days to auto-optimize on the new system. Up until that point, it could overheat, resulting in excessive battery drain. Ensure that 60% of the battery and up to 15GB of storage are free before installing the update.
How to obtain the ColorOS 14 update for OnePlus 9/ OnePlus 9 Pro and OnePlus 9RT
To verify the current version, the user should go to Settings > About this machine > Version information > Version number. This firmware is required for the smartphone to run.

Go to Settings > About this machine > Top version information (above the phone name) and update now.
